This policy explains what information ServiceLens (“ServiceLens,” “we,” “us”) collects through our website at servicelens.ai and through the ServiceLens software we provide to HVAC companies, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information you give us on this website
When you use a form on this website we collect what you type in:
- Contact us: your name, email, and message, plus your company and phone number if you add them.
- Book a demo: your name, email, mobile phone, company and city, plus your answers about your company.
- Accelerator updates: your email address.
We use this information to answer you, set up the demo you asked for, and tell you when Accelerator applications open. We don’t sell it, and we don’t add you to unrelated mailing lists.
2. Information collected automatically
This website does not use advertising trackers, analytics cookies, or tracking pixels. Like any website, our hosting provider receives basic technical information when your browser loads a page (such as your IP address, browser type, and the page requested). That information is used to deliver the site, keep it secure, and prevent abuse such as spam form submissions. The website loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when the fonts load.
3. Information in the ServiceLens software
HVAC companies (“contractors”) use ServiceLens to run their business. In doing so, a contractor stores information about its staff and its own customers in ServiceLens: for example names, phone numbers, addresses, service history, invoices, call recordings and transcripts, text messages, photos, and notes. ServiceLens processes this information on the contractor’s behalf and under the contractor’s instructions. If you are a customer of a contractor that uses ServiceLens, the contractor’s own privacy policy applies to your information, and you should contact the contractor with questions or requests.
We use contractor information only to provide, secure, support, and improve the ServiceLens service for that contractor. We keep each contractor’s information separate from every other contractor’s.
4. Text messages and phone calls
ServiceLens lets contractors call and text their own customers and suppliers from the contractor’s business phone number. Mobile phone numbers and text-messaging consent collected for this purpose are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to any text to stop receiving messages, or HELP for help.
5. AI features
ServiceLens includes AI assistants that help contractors answer calls and texts, take notes, order parts, and run their office. To do this, the relevant information is sent to the AI model provider we use, under terms that do not allow that provider to use it to train its models. AI assistants can make mistakes, and contractors supervise their work.
6. Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers that help us run ServiceLens, such as cloud hosting, database and file storage, email delivery, phone and text-message carriers, payment processing, and AI model providers. They may use the information only to provide their services to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the rights, safety, or property of ServiceLens, our customers, or others, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business, in which case this policy continues to apply to it.
7. How long we keep information
We keep website form submissions as long as needed to answer you and follow up, and contractor information for as long as the contractor uses ServiceLens and as their agreement with us requires. When information is no longer needed we delete it or make it anonymous.
8. Security
We protect information with encryption in transit, access controls, and separation between contractors’ accounts. No system is perfectly secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and will notify affected people as the law requires if a breach occurs.
9. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what information we have about you, correct it, or delete it by contacting us at the address below. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time by replying or using the link in the email. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, including the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act; we will respond to requests as those laws require. We won’t treat you differently for exercising your rights.
10. Children
ServiceLens is a business tool and is not meant for children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we’ll change the effective date above, and for significant changes we’ll give more notice, such as an email to contractors using ServiceLens.
